The day you have your appointment set-up we will come to you and do a free-dental evaluation. First we will get to know your furbaby and let them get to know us. This is important so that they can start forming trust. This oral examination will help you understand if your dog is a good candidate for anesthesia free dental. It will uncover severe periodontal disease, bone loss, bone fracture, visible tumors and cavities. If any of these are visible we will refer you to a veterinary.

If your pet receives a clear oral examination, we will make your dog feel comfortable and when we see that they are ready, proceed with the cleaning. This cleaning will last you at least six months and can last even longer with regular tooth brushing and dental treats.

Our goal is to make this experience as smooth and pleasant as possible. Your pet will be rewarded with a treat and a clean mouth.

Anesthesia-free dental means that we remove your pet’s tartar in a gentle, yet effective way. We use tools that are called hand scalers and hand currets to gently removed the calculus that is found on your pet’s teeth. All pets are treated with respect, taking into consideration each individual personality and what they need to feel well. We are knoweldgable that not every pet is a candidate and will let you know when we see progressive periodontal disease that needs further evaluation and possible surgery.

This cleaning is a non-evasive chemical-free cleaning that will keep you dog’s mouth healthy. Our recommendation is that you do this about every six months, depending on the amount of tartar buildup. We understand that it is hard to keep up with a good daily toothbrushing routine and we got you covered.
